Talk to us before you buy.
Every property is different. We help you work out whether a tiny home is the right fit for your land before you commit to purchasing.
A practical look at your land, first.
Whether you’re on acreage, a rural property, a family block or looking to add accommodation, we help assess your site and identify the practical considerations that may affect your project — so you can avoid costly surprises.
Property size & layout
We look at how your block is shaped and where a tiny home could realistically sit.
Site access
Road access, driveway width, tight corners, overhead power lines and trees all affect delivery.
Available services
What’s there for power, water and wastewater — connected, or an off-grid approach.
Slope, drainage & placement
Ground fall, soil and stormwater flow shape where the home can go and how it’s set up.
The best location
Sun, privacy, outlook and how the home relates to existing structures on your land.
Challenges & solutions
We flag potential site issues early and talk through practical ways around them.
Power, water & wastewater.
For most customers the process is straightforward: a licensed electrician connects the power, the water connects to a tap or tank, and an appropriate wastewater solution is arranged.
Power
Many owners plug into an existing supply with a 15 amp lead to a caravan plug under the chassis. Off-grid options like solar, batteries and generators suit remote locations.
Water
Where town water is available, connect with a heavy-duty hose or 25 mm poly pipe. On rural properties, many owners use rainwater tanks, bore water or other approved sources.
Wastewater
Greywater and toilet waste are managed to suit your site — connecting to sewer, a septic or approved treatment system, or a composting toilet, depending on local requirements.
Delivery & crane access.
In most cases, yes — we can assess site access and delivery requirements to determine whether a tiny home can be delivered to your location.
Factors such as road access, steep driveways, tight corners, overhead power lines, trees and site conditions can all affect delivery. If access isn’t straightforward, we can review the route and talk through the best options.
And for those tricky spots, in most cases a crane can lift your home into place.
We don’t deliver homes ourselves, but we can help arrange an experienced, licensed third-party driver we work with regularly.
A note on council and approvals. This information is general only and is not legal, planning, building or regulatory advice. Council requirements vary between areas and change over time, and approval is never guaranteed.
Always confirm requirements — zoning, approvals, permits, services and land-use rules — with your local council and qualified professionals before purchasing or placing a tiny home.
